Dr. Preety Shah
Dr. Shah was introduced to naturopathic medicine
when she was still a child. Dr. Shah's passion for natural medicine
grew stronger when she was treated and cured of jaundice using
botanical medicine and homeopathy. After receiving a microbiology
degree from Arizona State University, she moved on to fulfill her
life dream of pursuing a Doctorate in Naturopathic medicine, which
she completed after four intense years of Medical training at the
Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM), in Tempe,
Arizona. Dr. Shah received her degree in family practice medicine
with an emphasis on women's health and in diabetes education.
Dr. Shah has been part of several research studies; literature
review on the effects on blood sugar using naturopathic protocol,
clinical trial testing the rate of absorption
of supplemental glutathione, and case studies on diabetic patients
treated using naturopathic protocol.
Dr. Shah specializes in obesity, diabetes and women's health
using natural treatment modalities such as classical homeopathy,
botanical
medicine, clinical nutrition and hydrotherapy according to the needs
of the patient. Dr. Shah's goals are to find the cause and treat
the cause. Dr. Shah is currently residing out of NuU 's Schaumburg,
Illinois location.
